This Spring I will be teaching Portrait Painting in Oils, Intermediate Figure Drawing and Intro to Oil Painting at Gage Academy of Art, Seattle WA www.gageacademy.org
We'll be working large scale in figure drawing and doing some pretty extended poses in the painting course. This semester the portrait class has been going over toned grounds and some set palettes of a practical and historical nature.
The intro to oil class will focus on still life subject matter but will get students stretching canvas and gessoing it and starting a painting the first day.
I'm, very much, looking forward to these classes!
